OMG i remeber this...now seeing the comercial it all came back....haha
I used to love playing this game, as an only child I rarely had anyone to play it with so i would just set it up, put a little grape guy in each of the execution devices, and spin the wheel for hours. I remember not liking the commercial however since the song was so annoying.
Grape escape commercial
I had this game and i played with my neighbors
I agree with Dark Pulse. I only played this game, like, twice because it was so hard to set up.
i wanted this game so badly. my mom thought i was kinda sadistic as a kid also cuz my fav cartoon was roadrunner and coyote
I had this. I'm not sure we ever set it up right. It's just cool that you could make your own game piece.
Pretty gruesome, though.
i like the grape escape game.
I had this. It was a BITCH to set up, something a bit more complicated than 'Mouse Trap' but a LOT easier than '13 Dead End Drive.'
Wow...I don't remeber it being so sadistic!
What a violent looking game.
haha i remember this commercial it didn't make me want it that much because i wasn't much on board games and stuff like that but again another great 90's toy that was fun and creepy haha.
what about rattrap?
oh man i wanted this soooo bad!
I had this. What a sadistic game. Being squished, heads being cut off, rolled on...ew
This was a fun game, but not as fun as SPLAT! Strangely, whenever this commercial came on, I always thought they were singing, 'That's the way you do it when you play the Breakfast Game.'
I remember that commercial, I wanted that game so bad!
Wow, I remember this. When I was a kid I thought it looked so cool. Now I think it looks brutally morbit.......it's so freakin cool.
Oh, and on the note of Thirteen Dead Ed Drive: horribly convoluted game.
Okay, as much fun as this game looked, I always felt very sorry for the animated clay characters getting brutally murdered.
But, meh, that was how cartoons could be back then
Chilli, it does not smell like grapes. I loved this game but like thirteen dead end drive... anyone remember that? it took forever to set up but it was still fun. The sissors was the one that always destroyed the grapes the worst.
lol i remember wanting this game and never getting it
this commercial always made me giggle evily... like when you see your dad whack his head on something...
that commercial always made me so sad! especially when the one gets snipped by those scissors. terrible!
I always wanted this game as a kid! What could be more fun than getting to slaughter little clay characters? LOL!
I loved the game, but hated the commercial. I don't know...I just found the singing annoying. If you watch it on mute, it looks strangely hilarious.
It's really a disturbing commercial when you get right down to it. They're getting smashed, they're heads chopped off. Almost gruesome in a way. lol.

This game was awesome! My cousins still have this game and I still get a kick out of slaughtering their little playdough guys in disturbing ways. Unfortunately, some of the game mechanical pieces that operate the traps are ruined, and the playdough is kinda crusty, but it's still a delightfully evil game to play!
